The Task At Hand

This existing property had undertaken a complete renovation.  The house had been through a huge transformation, with new elements constructed in most areas.  The existing garden, nearest the house had been used for works access and storage with some areas already worked on by the previous builders.

Our clients were nearly ready to move into the property, but the outside areas had not yet been touched.  They wanted a garden that was in keeping with the area, with both traditional and contemporary elements.  Backing on to a famous golf course, the view from upstairs was stunning and the garden had to lend itself to being viewed both the ground and the glass balconies above.

The family loves to be outdoors, playing sports and socializing at home.  This space has to accommodate everyday life and also the rare occasions where they could sit and relax together at home.

We have utilised existing level changes to construct various features.  A built in BBQ and Fire Pit allow the family to sit out in all seasons and use the space.  Height is added with the sleeper climbing supports and planting.  From front to back, this entire blends in with the new look of the property.  It is both traditional and contemporary, but most of all practical and tailored to the users needs.
